Job Description

Childrens Club Managers and Assistants

Powder Byrne clubs are split into two age groups 4- 9 years; Scallywags Club, and 10 - 14 years; TheZone Club.

The Scallywags children take advantage of the hotels facilities; tennis, swimming, beach activities and indoor activities, as well as day trips to local theme parks etc.

The older children in TheZone take part in an exciting sports orientated programme both around the hotel grounds and offsite in local outdoor centres.

We are looking for staff with a childcare and sporting background to supervise the resort clubs. You should have endless enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards providing a first class service.

Requirements: relevant childcare experience, good communication skills, management qualities (managers only), an understanding of relevant safety issues, adaptability, resourcefulness, patience and diplomacy. Languages desirable. Team player essential.


Crèche Managers and Assistants (start date: Feb / March / April /May / July / August / October)

The role of Crèche Manager/Assistant is to manage the effective day to day running of the Powder Byrne "pb" club, ensuring a safe and fun environment for children aged between 6 months and 4 years. We provide our youngest guests with a varied programme of activities in a fully equipped crèche environment, and also make sure they make the most of the sunshine!

We are looking for professional individuals with an exceptional approach towards childcare. You should have endless enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards providing a first class service.

Requirements: NNEB qualification or equivalent, management qualities (managers position only), relevant childcare experience, a good communication skills, an understanding of relevant safety issues, adaptability, resourcefulness, patience and diplomacy. Languages desirable. Team player essential.
