Job Title: Club Assistant, Luxury Resort
Reporting to: Club Supervisor and Childcare Manger
Responsible for: Smooth running of the kids club
Works with: WWKC club manager, WWKC club supervisor, other kids club staff
Based: SUMMER ROLES BSED IN - Greece/Crete/Cyprus

We are looking for passionate enthusiastic and outgoing people to work at a luxury resort in Greece for the summer. Working as a children's club assistant you will be experienced with working with large groups of children from 4 to 12 year olds. The candidate will have a proactive, positive and approachable manner. The candidate must also be a team player as the childcare operation is based in a very popular kids club at a very popular resort.
You will be working as part of a large international team as the majority of the guests are from the United Kingdom, Germany, Russia and Greece. Knowledge of one of those languages would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
To ensure the smooth running of the childcare at the resort
To assist and occasionally deputize for the kids club supervisor
The safety and welfare of the children within your care and the care of the assistants working alongside you
To be proactive in suggesting suitable activities for the children in your care to enjoy
Creating exciting timetables of activities and play ideas for the children at the childcare setting
To decorate your designated area in a way that is both welcoming and stimulating to the children and their families
To be available for babysitting duties as and when required
To attend daily briefings from the WWKC club supervisor and manager
To liaise directly with parents/ carers of the children who are attending the clubs
To be a visible face of WWKC within the hotel or resort.
Mentoring international staff
To step in operationally when needed to cover for breaks, sickness and holidays
To lead a range of children's and family activities
Liaise with the childcare supervisor on a daily basis
Be proactive and imaginative in ideas for special promotions
Inform childcare supervisor of any equipment and supplies shortages and make a request for additional stocks
Attend suitable training courses in order to maintain and develop skills

Experience of working with large groups of children
Team player
Excellent interpersonal skills
Fluent English speaking
Desirable
Sports background
Level 2 or 3 qualified
Knowledge of German, Russian, Greek, French would be advantageous
